It will arrive in a vintage metal box I found that fits them perfectly. (see photo)
Vintage mid to late 1920s Metal Wave Clips by Anna Greenwich Water Wavers. For waved flapper hair, a better wave without fuss, without untidyness and loss of time as the 1926 ad reads. These lovely wave clips are actually quite long & wide. Made of metal, they have metal teeth for combing the hair in place, open wide to clasp your hair & lock in place on the middle rod. In good condition and they are completely functional for use today or make a great conversation piece as decor.
