1940's forward tilt, black wool felt.
7" by 6". Across the back half of the hat there are four molded bows, two resting pairs; one pair intersects at a 45 degree angle, the other 90 degrees or perpendicular.
The highlight of this hat: across the front is a simulation of the popular 40's upswept pompadour hairstyle, a hair roll. Thinly woven strands of shiny black plastic, resembling fishing line.
Black wool felt support band, with center elastic, measuring 15 inches end to end. Faille around the edge of the hat; no lining.
Universal fit.
Condition
In wonderful condition for its age. The elastic has lost some stretch.
